Lisa Alexander
Physical Therapist/Owner
Passionate and caring are two words that describe Lisa Alexander as a physical therapist. She was introduced to physical therapy in 1988 when she sustained a knee injury during the California Youth Soccer Association State Cup Championship tournament. While her teammates went on to win the state championship game, Lisa was busy in rehab for her knee. She found her calling in physical therapy and soon began a worldwide journey.
After high school, she attended the University of Kansas and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1994, majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy. She then traveled abroad and earned her physical therapy degree with honors from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Since graduating in 1998, she has practiced in most areas of physical therapy including:
- Inpatient rehab,
- Industrial rehab,
- Home health,
- Acute care,
- Outpatient rehab.
Lisa founded LifeFIT Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists in 2007 in an effort to guide patients through the rehabilitation process in a fun, proactive and caring atmosphere.
